Where I was 47 years ago.
March 15, 1974. Ogden, Utah. Church of the Good Shepherd. Getting
married for the first and (almost) last time.
Hard to imagine it’s been that long. You’re 9 years longer in the saddle than me. But no worse for wear I’d say. Tell Susan hello, and tell her, as I tell my wife, she deserves a medal. I hope you good folks and kids are well and happy as can be expected. Miss seeing you.
Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteHope you are always as happy as you were that day. Beautiful church, by the way.
ReplyDeleteOver the past 47 years I suspect we have experienced every emotion on the scale, but it mostly balances on the good side.
DeleteCongratulations to a very special couple!
ReplyDeleteThank you.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Jay. You are right about the women deserving medals.
