Today kicks
off Cowboy Poetry Week, brought to us all by the Center for Western and Cowboy
Poetry and CowboyPoetry.com. Back in 2003, the United States Senate passed a unanimous
resolution recognizing Cowboy Poetry Week, and the governors of twenty-three
states have recognized the celebration.
Take some
time this week to read some poetry or attend a cowboy poetry event in your
area. For more information about Cowboy Poetry Week activities visit CowboyPoetry.com at www.CowboyPoetry.com or on facebook at www.facebook.com/cowboypoetryandmore.
And, should
the opportunity present itself, give a cowboy poet a big kiss and a hug.

Got a volume of cowboy poetry by some guy named Rod Miller to celebrate with. That hugging and kissing part though, sounds a little self-serving to me...

Well, Paul, we take our hugs and kisses where we can get them....
